My wife and I wanted to get away and enjoy some time together on vacation. It seems like I am busier now than when I worked full time. Boo - hoo, I know that you are really feeling sorry for me, Right! The really cool things about this cruise, (beside the great deal that my wife paid for it) was that we had 4500 people captive daily to see our Trust Jesus T-Shirts every day, Sure, we had a few people shaking their heads at us, but the overwhelming majority was a positive response. Not only does it let others know who you serve but at times it also reminds the one wearing it. Several people called us the Trust Jesus couple wherever we went on the ship and also the great group of Christians that we were Privaleged to meet each day from 0830 to 0930 for bible study on the ship. To our knowledge, Princess Cruises is the only line that schedules these bible studies. My wife is so bold, we handed out about 32 T-shirts and over 1500 - Million dollar tracts to many people onboard and off of the ship. The Bible study was the best part of the trip for me.
Up to Victoria where we went on a tour as well. Quite a bit of walking and saw Victoria from atop a hill, then back down town. Back onboard the ship we went down to San Francisco on a double decker bus. Weather was beautiful. I have never done a tour of San Fran before. It was beautiful.
Then down to Las Angeles where we were looking down on the NOFX concert from the ship. A friend of ours and server on the ship, by name of Relondo walked opposite a line about a mile long of people going into the a Punk Rock concert, smiling to people as he walked along in his Trust Jesus t-shirt. He had a bold silent withness
to thousands that day.
Next we went on to San Diego where we went sailing and saw the sights of San Diego. Very romantic.Then back to Seattle. Had a great time overall. Highly recommend this cruise, especially because for those in Washington there is no air fare, you begin and end in Seattle. We have found that wherever we are, we can raise up His name without saying a word, the majority of the time we say hi to fellow believers.
